FLS Randall Enos Scholarship

On December 17, 2018, the Friends of Libraries Section Executive Board voted to establish a scholarship in honor of its President Emeritus, Randall Enos. As it happens, Randall, RCLS Youth Services Consultant, is retiring in February of 2019, so it seemed only fitting that contributions in his honor could be made to fund the scholarship!

Randall is a founding member of the Empire Friends Roundtable (1992), the precursor to the Friends of Libraries Section (2014) of the New York Library Association. Encouraging participation in both FLS and NYLA is at the heart of this scholarship.

The FLS Randall Enos Conference Scholarship will provide financial assistance for a member of the Friends of Libraries Section, who is also a member of a Friends of the Library group at any type of library in NYS, to attend a NYLA Annual Conference for the first time. This scholarship will be offered in odd numbers years beginning in 2019.
