Fall Into Books

The 20th Annual Fall Into Books will be held at the the Crestview Conference Center in West Nyack on

The Conference is open to anyone interested in literature for young people.

Keynote Speaker:  Nick Glass - "From De-Silencing to Empowering Discussions about Race and Culture with Diverse Books"

Author Presentation:  Sandra Uwiringiyimana - How Dare the Sun Rise

Participants will choose literature discussion groups, hear the keynote speaker and network with colleagues.  C

Registration Information:
Early Bird $65 - Postmarked by July 30, 2018
Regular Registration $75 - Postmarked by September 28, 2018
No purchase orders are accepted.  Refunds are not possible. No walk-ins at Conference!

Attendees are able to pre-order books, by the featured author, by completing the form on the registration sheet, insuring that the books they wish to purchase will be available at the Conference.

For reservations, call the.DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet 845-623-6000 and mention you are attending a Salvation Army event for the Room rate of  $124 + tax.  Rooms are not blocked for this event, so make your reservations early

Fall Into Books Annual Children's and Young Adult Literature Conference is sponsored by:

The Fall Into Books Conference is held annually in the late fall.  The schedule for the day is similar from year to year: book sales, kickoff speaker, two 1-hour book discussion sessions (ranging from picture books to books for teens), lunch, author presentation and author signing and closing session.  Books may be purchased other times during the day as well.  Attendees are able to pre-order books by the featured author by completing the form on the registration sheet, insuring that the books they wish to purchase will be available at the Conference.
