Annual Meeting Awards

At the RCLS 54th Annual Meeting on Friday, September 20, 2013, the Ramapo Catskill Library System will be presenting three special awards:

  • The Member Library Adult Program of the Year Award winner will receive a plaque and a check for $500 for any adult library program created and presented during all or part of the period between January 1 and December 31, 2012.
  • The winner of the Member Library Youth Program of the Year Award will receive a plaque and a check for $500 for any children’s, teens’ or family library program created and presented during all or part of the period between January 1 and December 31, 2012.  Note: The guidlines for this category have been changed to include family programs.
  • The Anthony J. Knipp Library Trustee Award winner will receive a plaque. A check for $250 will be sent to the library of his/her choosing. The trustee must have been a trustee of a member library of RCLS during all or part of the period between January 1 and December 31, 2012.

Nominations for all three awards must be submitted no later than Friday, June 14, 2013 to the Awards Committee c/o RCLS. Nominations submitted after that date will not be accepted.
