2014 Summer Contest

The 2014 Library Staff Summer Reading Contest involves reading the book Expect More by R. David Lankes, which will make you think about your library’s role in your community and your part as a staff member of your library. The book is a free download.

Contest Guidelines:

  • The library director or a library trustee must read the book and participate in a questionnaire.
  • As many Library staff (volunteers could be included) as possible must read the book and participate in the questionnaire.
  • All participants must contribute to the discussion board.

How does a library win the contest? The winning library will be the one that has the most staff members read the book, answer the questions and participate in the discussion.

The prize is a FREE continental breakfast for the library’s staff, complements of the RCLS Public Service Consultant. The contest ends Friday, August 29.
