Position: Full-time
Role: Assisting the Adult Services and Community Engagement Librarian
Description: Howland Public Library is seeking an energetic, creative, and outgoing individual to join our team as a Bilingual Library Assistant. This role focuses on working with our diverse adult community, delivering outstanding services and programs. Starting annual salary is $42,000 with a great benefit package.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Adult Services Librarian in various tasks
- Assist in delivering programs and services to adults
- Engage with the community to promote library services
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Strong customer service skills
- Passion for community service and working with adults of all ages
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
