The Newburgh Free Library has an opening for a Collection Development Librarian II.
Oversee the development and management of the lending collections for adults in all formats – popular fiction and media, assigned areas of non-fiction, special collections and eContent. In collaboration with the Head Librarian, oversee the Overdrive Pool for the consortia, serving as liaison between member libraries and RCLS. Assist and train librarians in collection development, evaluation, marketing and management. Develop new collections, assess community interests and monitor trends. Coordinate library programming for adults and oversee readers’ services to outside groups and homebound. Reports to the Head Librarian and directly supervises library pages, one full-time librarian and one full-time library assistant.
